Daniel 12:3 - וְהַמַּשְׂכִּלִים יַזְהִרוּ כְּזֹהַר הָרָקִיעַ וּמַצְדִּיקֵי הָרַבִּים כַּכּוֹכָבִים לְעוֹלָם וָעֶד "The enlightened will shine like the radiance of the sky, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever." The installation of a spiritual leader calls for both inner light to lead and the ability to see the lights of the congregation seeking leadership and growth. Our Kehillah, “Sha’arei Orah” (Gates of Light), tries to exemplify illumination in our embrace of forward-thinking Torah, the inclusivity of lay involvement, and now, through the installation of Rabbanit Leah Sarna as our Spiritual Leader, an eye toward a new paradigm in rabbinic leadership. Lighting Our Way Help us honor Rabbanit Sarna and Sha’arei Orah as we grow into our beautiful, new space, and the opportunities that Rabbanit Sarna’s leadership will open up for our community and beyond. This campaign will enable us to enhance our connective educational offerings, to continue our warm communal experiences, and to grow our Kehillah as a welcoming, friendly place to daven, learn, and develop Jewishly. We seek contributions to this campaign at any level in order to attain full participation.
